Barry’s breadth of experience in many different industries provides the necessary familiarity and adaptability, having worked at large law firms, acted as outside general counsel to different businesses, and serving as in-house legal counsel for a major entertainment company and General Counsel for a leading video game publisher. These experiences have allowed Barry to stay on the cutting edge of the law and business transactions in the entertainment, new media and technology areas, and give him the insider’s perspective.

Among the many services offered are the providing of strategic legal advice, negotiation and drafting of contracts, reviewing and advising on contracts, enforcing rights, responding to claims, setting up and advising new companies, legal and licensing compliance, investigating complaints, and resolving and negotiating settlements to disputes.
Prior to starting his own law firm, Barry was in-house Chief Legal Counsel for Crave Entertainment, a leading international video game publisher and distributor. At Crave, Barry successfully negotiated and closed numerous multi-million dollar game publishing and distribution deals worldwide, and worked with numerous US and international game developers. Barry also completed numerous licensing and consumer product deals while at Fox Entertainment and Saban Entertainment. Additionally, Barry has represented entertainment and sports clients including Universal, Fox, MGM/UA, DreamWorks and Shaquille O’Neal.
Barry’s representation of numerous game, sports, entertainment and apparel properties during his 20-year legal career include Ultimate Fighting Championship, Tony Hawk, World Championship Poker, Star Wars, SHAQ, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Fox Family Channel, NASCAR Racers, Captain Kangaroo, Elf, Bad Boys, Men In Black, Babe, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Harvest Moon, The Mummy, Veggie Tales, Cartoon Network, Ed, Edd & Eddy, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Camp Lazlo, Judy Knapp, Cross Colours and Karl Kani.
